My name is Savannah Butcher, and I'm a senior at Boston University studying journalism and political science. I cover the people and institutions shaping communities in the Pacific Northwest and Boston.

I was a staffer for The Knox Student and The Daily Free Press at Knox College and Boston University, and have experience in community reporting with the Vashon-Maury Island Beachcomber. Most recently, I was a metro and breaking news intern with The Seattle Times. Currently, I’m reporting for the Bay State Banner in Boston.
